Steals (STL)

# (stealer) → tap STL → opponent # → pass/dribble. Pass = bad pass, dribble = lost ball. Linked TOV recorded; undo is paired.

STL swipe right (team GDF — pressure cut)

Swipe STL right (cyan dashed) without selecting a stealer #. Use when double-team pressure forced a bad pass that was cut. Pick turnover # → pass/dribble. Logs team STL + linked TOV, counted as team GDF.

TOV swipe left (team TOV — time violations)

Swipe TOV left (sky dashed) for turnovers without a steal. Pick turnover # → 24/8/5 sec, backcourt, etc. Selecting '5-sec violation' or 'pass pressure' also adds a GDF count.

Team GDF (Good Defense)

GDF (Good Defense Forced Turnover) counts turnovers that the defense actively forced — separate from self-inflicted turnovers like shot-clock violations or traveling. Visualizing this split is a core feature of this app.

Turnover reasons that count as GDF

bad-pass (pressure-forced pass error) · steal (direct steal) · offensive-foul (charging) · 5sec (5-second violation)

Two ways to record GDF

STL swipe right → turnover # → pass/dribble
TOV swipe left → turnover # → select 5-sec or pass pressure

Viewing in the stats sheet

GDF count appears in green next to the team TOV number. The TOV breakdown section uses green for GDF-forced and orange for unforced turnovers.

Turnovers (TOV)

# → TOV → (Detailed mode) pick a category. PRO defaults to Detailed recording.

Team fouls (TF)

Resets each quarter. From the 4th team foul, all indicators turn red

Timeline (review entries)

The bottom shows the latest 2 entries. When there are 3 or more, tap "View all" to see and undo every entry

Undo a mistake

Tap × on a row to undo. STL and linked TOV are removed together. Use the full timeline page for older entries
